What are the myths or traditions you can remember that our parents or perhaps our grandparents used to tell us?

Its interesting to find out how other people of different race react to these myths that some Filipinos believe in. My Latvian husband just can't stop saying "really?" while I was sharing him these things.

Most outrageous one for him, was the myth about Washing the face with our first menstrual blood to avoid pimples in the future!

Hmm ...interesting!:yeahthat:, I reckon, must've appeared bloody outrageous :biggrin: to him.
