Robbie Savage avoids driving ban for speeding at 99mph on the motorway as pundit 'can't use trains or buses because people hate him', claims lawyer

Robbie Savage was caught speeding after Alan Shearer's charity ball
Pundit said he was 'rushing' on A1 because he wanted to see his children
Lawyer said £230,000 Bentley is 'safe haven' for 'Marmite' commentator
Claims Savage is 'accosted' in public due to his controversial opinions
40-year-old could have been banned from driving for up to 28 days
Instead he was given a £600 fine despite a possible £2,500 penalty

Robbie Savage has worn us down with five years of peroxide hair, fake tan and stating the obvious: Laura Williamson can't take any more of Mr Marmite!

On any weekend you can find Savage flitting between BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC television and BT Sport
Savage also regularly features on Football Focus, 5 Live’s football phone-in 606 and Match of the Day
The former Wales midfielder also competed on Strictly Come Dancing

Average footballer, below average pundit and total waste of our licence fee. I love listening to 5Live on the radio but whenever he comes on :cwm23:

I'd put him in the same category as someone like Neil Warnock. When either are not actively participating in football as a player or manager they come across as fairly likeable although Savage's excuses for speeding are lame to say the least.

Looks like he has upset some Chelski fans, They all give thier opinions on what they see. I have no issues with him. There must be millions that get done for speeding does that make them all bad?
