Latest news - Sky have come back offering me 50%. I said, "no, not till you give me it for £20 a month as I was paying before".

My contract was nearly up for Virgin Broadband and I managed to get £8 a month knocked off - bringing it down to £23 - still expensive but I'm on very fast speed and, of course, I get all my music, Blu Rays and PC games for nothing, so can't complain.

Just got rid of milkman - was paying £16 a month for 4 pints a week - felt a bit guilty, but it's far cheaper in the shops, even buying Cravendale milk which is the best, as it's filtered so it tastes better and lasts a week.

Mobile not due till July, and I won't get a decrease as I want the new Samsung Galaxy 6 due to be unveiled on Monday. I pay £39 a month, but have unlimited everything and don't pay for 0845 and similar numbers. I will hopefully sell my S4 to pull a bit back.

So worth it, just to spend 20 mins haggling on the phone.

Agree with you - I got Sky TV half price for a year with free Broadband. Virgin could not match or better the deal!

Costco for my milk... 6x1 ltr go in the food cupboard. Think it costs around £2.50.

Only get through around a pint a week here.

Got rid of Virgin around October time I think, don't miss the TV - 'Freeview' does me fine.

I use about a pint a day. Don't miss Sky at all as I get the football on the links I provided and I get Blu-Ray movies for free.

Any TV series too, so stuff 'em! :xxgrinning--00xx3:

I've recently kicked Virgin Media into touch too, knowing that I'd be moving soon. Not bothered about TV or phone, but will definitely be getting broadband back.
