Just walking around our village and something landed on my chest from out of the trees.

Took this photo of it on the lawn:-

Draco mindanensis, commonly known as the Mindanao flying dragon, is a lizard species endemic to the Philippines. Characterized by a dull grayish brown body color and a vivid tangerine orange dewlap, this species is one of the largest of the genus Draco. It is diurnal, arboreal, and capable of gliding.

It's more fun in the Philippines

That's what I love about being in the Philippines. I love nature and seeing all the new animal life that we only see in books as kids. My wife calls me innocent when I rave about seeing this or that, but that's ok with me, I am fascinated. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

That must be some sort of luck Peter :baby1:

I'm lucky Steve, my Bro-in-law is a long time fan of all things nature.

Hoping for the promised opportunities to become reality. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

In my short time here I've been fortunate to see some fantastic sights. Just want to get some extra time.

Spotted a blue snake on a coral reef last week and was told it's deadly :yikes:

My Bro-in-law also told me to stay clear of some kind of spider, but haven't seen too many yet.

But you're right Stewart, the wildlife is amazing

You'd be most welcome Moy :xxgrinning--00xx3:

We're within a few minutes of a nice beach and within 15 minutes of all the big malls.

There's been some huge improvements in the area and the addition of a few new supermalls including Ayala's Abreeza Mall in Bajada and the new SM Lanang Premier the second largest in Philippines behind MOA

I'll divulge our location when you arrive.

I saw some of those snakes when snorkelling in Moalboal.

Didn't realise how dangerous they were.

Really are some beautiful things to behold there.
