Crocodile Farm – this is a farm where crocodiles are raised and taken care of. This just started as a fascinationwitho wildlife and grew into a business and a wildlife preserve that has become a humble abode to many species aside from saltwater and freshwater crocodiles. This is a place definitely worth visiting.
Island Garden City of Samal – the Island Garden City of Samal belongs to Davao del Norte, yet the island can easily be accessed through Davao City. This is a good place for vacation. There are a lot of resorts here to choose from depending on the type of experience and adventure you want to indulge in.
People’s Park – this is a public park in central Davao City, Mindanao, Philippines. This park is covered with lush vegetation with more than one thousand species of plants from all over the world. This park is known for the sculptures of indigenous people by the artist named Kublai Millan. This park is also known for its dancing fountain, which has become a popular destination for locals during the night. It has been described as one of the cleanest and greenest public parks in the Philippines.
Davao Museum – this was opened to the public in August 1977. You can find various collections that you will surely love and enjoy. You can find artifacts from private collections and private collectors. Throughout the year, the museum has expanded by building programs linking various institutions, schools, organizations, indigenous groups and the public. This museum holds the information about the history of Davao. It has become the home to the collective memory and diversity of the culture and the people of Southern Mindanao.
Eden Nature Park – this is a resort three thousand feet above sea level. It is ninety five percent man-made. It was discovered sometime in 1971, and the resort was used to be a logged-over area that was covered only by a blanket of wild grass. It would be the best place to enjoy nature.

Couldn't agree more :xxgrinning--00xx3:
I can highly recommend Eden Nature Park. They have a great restaurant serving the freshest organic foods grown on site.
The hydroponics area is a must see site.

Pearl Farm is nice but as you say very expensive.

A friend of mine is a senior manager with Maxima AquaFun Resort. We had a great weekend there with ALL the family and not too expensive.
We were allowed to bring our own foods drinks beer etc plus BBQ's.
Pretty good entertainment.
The usual fire-dancers too who allowed me to have-a-go ..............very hot...

Same friend is also a manager at Crocodile Park. It's all the same owner.

Can't recommend the crocodile sisig
