Ross Burden, New Zealand celebrity chef, dies aged 45

Burden, who appeared on the BBC's MasterChef and Ready Steady Cook, was diagnosed with leukemia in July last year
Ross Burden, the celebrity chef famous for his appearances on BBC shows including MasterChef (http://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/masterchef) and Ready Steady Cook, has died aged 45 after losing a year-long battle against cancer.

My favourite uncle died well before his time also, from the same cancer.
