I've always been like that Arthur..I was nodding off in the pub once and an old mate that I hadnt seen in 15 years woke me up and told me to swallow something he`d rapped up in a Rizzla paper..
Apparently,I was talking a lot and I couldn't sleep for 3 days and actually looked forward to going to work.
I wonder what it was?:Erm:

C'mon Arthur, you should go to bed early and rise early enough to hear the birds morning chorus and you'll soon be as fit as a fiddle! :xxgrinning--00xx3:

That tickled me.

Seriously though Arthur, if it happens when you're doing anything else might be worth checking it out.

It can happen to us all:olddude:

Arthur, another option could be an over active thyroid gland. I'm sure Doc Alan will comment on both ailments that I've mentioned and maybe some others, but at the end of the day, get yourself down to your own GP and tell them your symptoms :xxgrinning--00xx3:

 Thankyou all for your concern, folks ... I'd hazard a guess the cause is probably too many late nights. ...

Ah, :Hellooo: ... I'm still ALIVE, Fred; my internet connection's been "dead slow 'n' stop", lately though. :doh

Luckily my nephew seems to've got to the root of the problem ... for now, anyway. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Arthur, do me a favour please and have a look at sleep apnoea

It's more common than people think, and often goes undiagnosed.

:yeahthat:'s typical of the House of Lords! :laugher:

Likely one of the MAIN reasons there were moves afoot to scrap the "Upper Chamber"... since nobody present bothered listening to endless boring speeches about ... :anerikke: ... bugger all, really.

fred
24th August 2014, 18:24
Nothing wrong with the upper chamber IMO...Just dont bore them silly.
Who would not fall asleep listening to that crap all day without nodding off?

I was sent on a works inter department afternoon meeting around 10 years ago so would then have been about 60, and fell asleep during the very boring meeting, they just left me to sleep, felt strange when I woke up wondering what was going on :Erm:

Yep ... been there ... done that, Mick :laugher: ... and that was when I was a lot younger than 60!

Even thought of taking along a pair of *pyjamas - instead of "the obligatory 'T-shirt' I'd bought" :icon_rolleyes: - 'cept I dont wear the bloody *things.
