Just thought I would post this to give info to others regarding applying for a Spanish Schengen.

Me and my wife Jamie visited vfs Manchester to apply for her Spanish Schengen.

Must say the procedure was straight forward more organised than tls in London for the French Schengen and we were in and out within 20 minutes.

Documents required:

1.) Duly completed application form. (evidence of bank statement amounts like savings, insurance, accommodation, payslips ect not needed as those questions with an asterix don't need to be completed)

2.) Passport plus copy of data and photo page. (must be valid for 90 days or more beyond return of trip)

3.) Any previous schengen visas make a copy of them.

4.) Original & copy of UK visa or BRP card which must be valid for at least 90 days beyond your return from the schengen area.

5.) Spouses passport and copy of photo & data page.

6.) Marriage cerificate and copy.

7.) Proof of address like bank statement, council tax bill ect.

8.) Proof of confirmed airline tickets eg: email from flight company.

9.) 1 photo to passport standard.

All for just a £17 service charge, hassle free and easy.....

Update on above Jamie just received her schengen from the Spainsh Consulate, it took 14 days and was issued for 15 weeks with multiple entries with 30 days maximum stay, so valid starting our holiday in July and a week down in Majorca in October is now in order.

Really chuffed considering the reputation of the Spanish normally only issuing single entry visas and I suppose the previous french one which was used in accordance with the rules helped secure another multi one.

Happy Days...:Jump:
