Disgraced Publicist Max Clifford Due For Sentencing Today

:woohoo: ... after being found guilty in relation to 8 charges of Indecent Assault at Southwark Crown Court last Monday, Clifford will be sentenced today.

Commenting on the verdict, the director of the NSPCC stated that the high-profile journalist has rightly been unmasked as a "ruthless and manipulative sex offender who, for decades, has preyed on children and young women". :cwm23:

Still, :iagree: the *sentence is lengthier than the 71-year-old PR guru is thought to've expected and consistent with the fact that the offences were, for the most part, committed decades ago. Moreover, *it reflects the defiant Clifford's arrogance in refusing to apologise to his victims ... some of whom had been subjected to the ordeal of appearing in court to testify against him.

Most mornings he would be in that cafe just off Weybridge High Street with his "100 MAX" parked in the street. You knew he was there. I saw him getting hassle from some builders who drove past him and shouted out the window of their van when the molestation story first broke. :icon_lol:
