Hi all, I'm Richard and new to this forum

I have my best friend who lives in Cebu and in an online relationship with her friend that lives there too lol

I may be asking for advice from time to time as to visa issues for my GF so any help would be great

I hope to make some friends here, dont know what else to say lol

Well ... :anerikke: ... most of us here were once in your shoes, figuratively speaking. Meaning we're fortunate in having many knowledgeable members who are ready, willing and able to help each other come to terms with the vagaries associated with the immigration journey.

Plus we're a friendly bunch. So, all told, you can be sure you're in the right place ... :welcomex:!

Thank you for the very warm welcome, much appreciated.

I have been blessed to meet an amazing woman and we have no idea about the immigration journey, so when we need help I will be sure to look and ask.

Glad I have come to the right place :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Depends what visa you want? Visit visa or are you going to marry the girl?

She wants to work and we want to get married.

It is best to get married in the Philippines and then go for a spouse visa in my opinion.

Oh, ok. Never considered that. Have to work out how much that will cost me. lol

At present £885. But I would get the wedding out of the way first. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Take note that if you want to bring her here as a fiancee or spouse, you need to be earning at least £18,600 per annum. You need to do research here in the forum regarding getting a fiancee or spouse visa.

Hi Richpk, my wife and I got married in Philippines, civil wedding and cost including a small family get together only came to £60. So nothing to worry about regarding cost of a wedding, good luck! :xxgrinning--00xx3:
