Just sat at home thinking about my wife and little boy back in the Philippines for there vacation and how quiet the house is at the moment.

So I just thought I would start a blog how far we have come this past 2 and a half years and if anybody would like to add their own experiences then feel free.

It seems a hell of a long time ago since I met Jamie on a dating site when she sent an interest message to me.

At the time I was talking to a Thai girl but somehow things didn't feel right so all my attention went towards my future wife, after talking for a while I decided to go to the Phils as I had fell head over heels in love with her.

6 months after I first chatted to her I landed at Manila into the stifling heat on that May night and after searching through the crowds I spotted her even more beautiful in real life.

After meeting her father who gladly gave me his blessing we headed for our hotel myself still in awe of her beauty, headed for a shower then thats when it all happened...I slipped and snapped my shoulder in two.

After the unbearable pain she took me to the hospital while I was x rayed a confirmed as a broken shoulder and just a sling for 6 weeks till it mended alongside painkillers and thats when she kissed me...:love2:

We spent a lovely time there for 14 days and despite my broken shoulder I knew she was the one so I duly proposed and without hesitation she said yes.

About 3 weeks after arriving home she told me that she was expecting...wow emotions, fear, everything rolled into one hit me.

I told her that I would never let her down and would always be there fot her and duly kept my promise and on July 12 2012 we married.

The rest is history as they say but people might ask why am I writing this right now...

The answer is that I don't know I just thought I would share a quick journey into our life so far and also missing them like crazy...

mmm...This girl has made me soft and melted my heart but God am I happy yes sir yes I am...

Awwww, such a heartwarming love story. I know how you feel, I felt the same way when I went to the Philippines last year; can't wait to get back here coz I miss the boys so much. So I promised myself that's it , that's the last time time I'm holidaying on my own. I'm sure your wife misses you a lot too. Just keep yourself busy ; ie my hubby did some DIY around the house, when I was away, made me appreciate him more

Thanks for sharing :) I think many of us have a story to share of how we met & married and all the trials and tears along the way and stress!

It is worth it all to be loved by a beautiful caring wfife!

God bless you.
