My last smoke was 10:30pm New Years Eve 2010 :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Not a single puff since ......not even an e-smoke

Feel so much better and my wallet loves it. :Jump:

So does my wife...

I can't recommend it enough....so much depends on being around to enjoy the wonders of the future

Thanks Peter.

Inspirational stuff.

Down to less than 10 a day now, but I'll make an effort. Mercedes doesn't like me smoking, so that should be another good reason to stop.

Come on Graham, I get the feeling you'd manage it if you put your mind to it :xxgrinning--00xx3:

We've got almost a couple of weeks to convince you.......what is it that holds you back?
Be honest

It's a great way to save money......not just on the costs of ciggies but also on future medications.......they're not free in those paradise islands ya know :icon_lol:

At the moment the dutyfrees I still have left. :cwm25:

After that, hopefully the shock of the local prices will be too much of a shock to want to continue. :cwm24:
I'll make a huge effort to buy some cheap electronic cigs from poundland.
The ones I got for my plane flights last month worked fine (2 quid total for the 2 flights).

Thanks for the encouragement....and Dedworth too. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

It's in your own head and hands Graham.

I reckon it's a great strategy to fix a stake in the ground and go for it. Means set a date.
What better date than No Smoking Day :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Electronic ciggies can help some folks but do nothing to break the habit of handling the cigarette and associated accoutrements.
At 10 or less a day the biggest challenge is habit/timing etc rather than craving.

Do it Graham.........
Set a date, that stake in the gound, that target.
Enjoy the future....that's where you'll spend the rest of your life :Jump:

Stay vigilant mate. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Bet you've noticed an improvement in fitness and health especially breathing.

Any weight increase ? I did but now (after a few years) going down down down. :Jump:

Thanks for the vote of confidence people. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Last time I stopped for 3 years (2004-2007).

Felt much healthier, and just filled out nicely, including some of the lines on my face....going up to just under 14 stones, which is my 'natural' weight I'd say...still no fat.

Yes must confess Terpe that I put on over a stone. Started a bit of a diet now, more cutting the rubbish out and I walk for an hour every evening after dinner with my wife. It's just starting to drop off again. Feel a lot healthier these days.
