​If you are applying by post, the biometrics can be done at the post office (check from UKBA website which post office that is nearest to you that does that). If you are applying by PEO, then biometrics will be done there the same day.

see ate rayna heard that others does their before their application for ILR but on UKBA site it says (post app.) when u file your application UKBA will send u the app.form form biometrics and details...that is why I got so confused...
