thanks all, to tell the truth Andy i would have loved to go to the phils, but i was torn about going so far for a holiday and i thought it would be wrong to enjoy myself there while there are thousands suffering, just my way of thinking about it,
I still need a holiday, Ems sister is there and Ems has not seen her for over 6 years , as long as i can do some of the things that i would like to then all will be happy i am sure

You have a point steve. Good luck to you mate. I think my first trip when my Mrs gets here will be to Norway and meet my sister in laws and maybe fit the Northern Lights in.

I'm sure you'll have a great time, new year in Dubai is a blast. Appreciate that it's a significant distance between Abu Dhabi and Dubai but there are plenty of things to do in Abu Dhabi worth seeing, including Ferrari World if you like cars.

Have a great trip Graham & Steve.

Graham, Sheavens is a very nice place to stay, thanks for the tip. One hotel I would go back to. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

I take it you know of that British Pub, The Midnight Rambler in Subic. Nice place with good prices. One of the regulars was a rottweiler too. :icon_lol:

grahamw48
1st December 2013, 11:52
Thanks Jamie.

So you stayed at Sheavans ?

Yes, I know all the places at Barrio B and Baloy. I think Midnight Rambler specialise in country music don't they ?

Ako Si Jamie
1st December 2013, 13:36
Yup. Stayed in Sheavens for 3 nights.

Midnight Rambler played punk music when I was there. I think the owner must be a big fan of The Who and the Pistols as there is memorabilia there.

Wow !

That sounds fun...and DIFFERENT ! :xxgrinning--00xx3:

I might go through to Subic next month, so I'll pop in and have a look.
