Watched it last night in eager anticipation-what a load of crap that was - turned into poor comedy show at best.
Even Billy piper looked haggard lol
Thats my moan for the day over :icon_lol:

Sadly :bigcry: ... I completely forgot it was on last night. Hence, I only manged to see the tail~end of the programme - the bit featuring Tom Baker and Matt Smith - then proceeded to watch 'Casualty' (in line with my usual "entertainment" of a Saturday evening) so ... :anerikke: ... I'm unable to pass comment.

But, judging by the accounts here, the whole show seems to have been something of a disappointment. :icon_rolleyes:

Never watched 'Dr Who' since the beginning because when the Daleks appeared I was too embarrassed to watch it any more, I thought they were the most stupid things I'd ever seen, looked like cardboard cutouts on casters! :xxgrinning--00xx3:

You have to remember that Dr Who has to be acceptable to kids, that is why it is on at 7pm and not 9pm. Which is why it is never going to be the same level as some sci-fi series. It could do better though, but it is now done by Welsh BBC who have a much smaller budget than its big brother. It was the scripted part with the Queen that ruined the story, that part could have been much better, and the actress was so crap. For the audience it is aimed at though, it was OK. They did break the age old rule though that two doctors can not be in the same place at once. :doh

It started off like Star Wars and descended into let's see who can make the funniest jokes - total pile of crap and so disappointing :NoNo:
