Where is everyone my wife asks? She has been here since May, got the Residence permit last week now she is looking for some good old chikka chikka with some fellow filipina's, i told here that there should be some community events but I cant find many (or any!) in the surrey area, just wondered if they are hiding somewhere I cant find !

There's Filipino communities all over the place, even in smaller towns. Try the local hospital social club.

A shame you didn't live here in Swindon..there's a big Filipino community here, all thanks to the big hospital and the Honda car factory

Probably here in Middlesbrough with having the largest hospital of its kind in Europe the James Cook University Hospital with 7,000 staff we have quite a lot of filipino workers especially in nursing...

We live in a small town in Cheshire but we still have a few Filipina's here, even an Xmas party at the local cricket club. When we lived in Africa the last thing we expected was a Filipina community but there was one, even a priest who baptised our children...
