Booked our "holiday" to see the family and friend in Cebu. We have both not been there for 11 months, this is far too long.
Flying out in November to get away from the old weather here.

Hi Rory, good to see you're still alive and kicking :xxgrinning--00xx3:

I'm rather envious just now as it's darn cold and damp around here too.

Hope you have great vacation in the paradise islands:Jump:

It's been six months since I've come back and I'm longing to return now the weather is changing for the worst. Only 7 more weeks though. :waver:

is it only me who hates the 30c plus :sunshine:, having to have aircon on and too hot and tired to do anything :cwm24:

No your not alone Joe, I hate the hot weather all through the year every year, don't mind a couple of days hot followed by about 17 degrees for a few weeks with some cool rain and also nice to wake up to a nice frosty morning now and again! :xxgrinning--00xx3:

I'm fine with it...just have to adapt.

No unhealthy and expensive aircon in any of my houses either...only fans.

You're certainly right about aircon being unhealthy Graham, never used it myself! :NoNo:

Very jealous, because of the Visa and relocation costs we are not looking to get back to see the wife's family until December 2014 which with the wind and rain this morning seems an awfully long time away...

That's something to think about, Has anyone ever known Manchester to close because of snow? I haven't and its probably the highest international airport above sea level!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

I believe Yeadon (Leeds) is, but they seem to have more problems with fog...and wind.

I've used it a few times on the KLM flights to Manila and Hong Kong. My nearest airport.

Hi there, i am still around,my wife is working now and there is always so much to do. She passed her Life in the UK test on the 3rd attempt and there is driving lessons now, had to wait 6 months before she could apply for a previsional license.
We just woke up the other morning and the weather was a lot colder so i just booked the flights on the spree of the moment after we both called work to get the same time off.

£601 each with Cathay pacific, straight in to Cebu where my wife comes from, missing out changing at Manila which we have done once before. Changing terminals from international flight to domestic in Manila is a right pain with the traffic and so time consuming.
