The city of Manila is set to introduce its own set of green buses that will run the capital city’s major routes even as the local government’s new rule in prohibiting some provincial and city buses to enter the city was marred with confusion from passengers and traffic jams.Moreno said the electric international standard buses, ‘Bus ni Erap at Isko’ will cover the following routes: Vito Cruz to Lawton, Lawton to Anda Circle, Roxas Boulevard to Vito Cruz, Lawton to Taft Avenue and Vito Cruz.The buses, numbering 50 units initially, will be purchased under a Public Private Partnership scheme.http://www.tempo.com.ph/2013/07/electric-green-buses-in-manila/#.UfSgao1TAns
