ive heard through my facebook page--from my lady--shes had a visit visa granted--her second attempt. i dont have any more details yet. shes been gone nearly a year now !:Jump::Jump:

beware if she stated she was going to stay for a couple of weeks and stays 6 months, there is a small possibility it could affect her getting another visit visa.

shes flying in tonight--heathrow 10 pm. i'm driving up to meet her. what is the typical time to get through immigration etc?

Varies, really ...:anerikke: ... depending on several factors ... such as the number of passengers disembarking from long distance flights, how many immigration staff there are on duty at any given time, the speed with which staff work their way through queues of arrivals and so forth ... mindful of the problems [some] people present in clearing customs.

Impossible, therefore, to be specific, :icon_sorry:

arrived safe and sound--early--but immigration etc took an hour. pity the m25 was down to one lane at j10--my turn off.--portsmouth. so missed the last ferry of sat night--3 hour wait for ist on sunday. hey ho--the joy of living on an island.
