Police have been searching Queenborough on the Isle of Sheppey after it is thought dozens of illegal immigrants escaped from a lorry this morning.

30 people on the back of a Lorry. :cwm23:Surely it would make sense to physically search every lorry as it arrives or have teams on the ferrys checking every lorry whilst in transit. It has to make economic sense to employ people to do this as I hate to think how much it's going to cost to get rid of this lot.

They claim to be checking them in Calais with heat, CO2 and body detectors - I reckon 30 pieces of filth would give off a fair old stench.

Sounds like a good case for some sackings

Looks like they only caught 11 of which only one has been kept in custody - usual complete waste of public money

Seven suspected illegal immigrants believed to have escaped from a lorry on the Isle of Sheppey have been released on bail.
