Eden Hazard has fired an ominous warning to the rest of the Barclays Premier League by declaring he will be ‘going for the kill’ and aiming for a new goalscoring record under Jose Mourinho next season.

Chelsea’s £32million signing from Lille delivered a blunt assessment of his debut season in English football but claimed he could emulate the scoring achievements of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo with a more direct approach next time.
