Welcome Grace, no problem with your age gap at all, but do slow down a little as you have been advised by Steve and good luck for the future!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

everyone is right, dont be in a hurry filling for a fiance visa. make sure to know each other well before doing such decession like that. Consul needs more proof about the genuienity of your relationship. Bottomline is make sure that you love each other not the heck of filling the visa. more info about the visa is above the home page, which says Visa and Extras button.

Oh, just noticed this post.

Anyway, congratulations on your new relationship.

A lot of guys here in the UK seem to think that they can magically avoid having to get to know a young lady (and her culture) properly in the normal way that they would if they had a g/f back home.

I really have no idea why.

It reminds of the old 'mail order bride' days. :NoNo:

I would recommend that you spend as much time together as possible, as well as a lot more time chatting on the internet, so that you can be more certain as to your compatibility. Falling 'in love' is very easy (especially with a pretty Filipina  ).

Two people from very different age groups and cultures living happily together is a very different matter.

Take things very slowly and patiently until you are as sure as you both can be.
