It gives me much pleasure to announce that my wife Myrna and our good friend, Aileen Tainsh (Respected Forum Member, acs)
are now dual citizens of BOTH the United Kingdom of Gt Britain :Britain: and the Republic of the Philippines :philippines:, respectively ... having re-taken their 'Oath of Allegiance' to the latter nation
- in the presence of the Philippine Ambassador to the UK - at a specially~convened ceremony held in Edinburgh's Central Halls yesterday forenoon.

Well done, ladies. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Great news.

 Thanks, Peter ... :iagree: wholeheartedly with your philosophy regarding the many advantages to be derived from being a "fully paid up" member of that exclusive club. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

No worries :nono-1-1: ... glad you and Carina enjoyed your rare outing together.

Whenever committed forumites through and through - like you or
I - AREN'T online, I daresay we're more than likely bound to be "conspicuous by our absence" - just as you were yesterday ... and I'd [probably] be the previous day. Indeed, you're altogether an inspiration to each and every 'Fil/UK' member (including myself)! So I doff my hat to a true gentleman. :coucouchapeau:
