Virgin Atlantic refused to offer call centre job to African refugee because of his ethnic origin, tribunal told

Under cross-examination from Alexander Robson for Virgin Atlantic, Mr Kpakio said that although he had suggested a compensation payment of more than £55,000 in a pre-hearing meeting, he would be happy just to receive an apology and a job.

Employment judge Sharp told him: "This tribunal does not have the power to order Virgin Atlantic to give you a job or to apologise to you.

Its up to the company who and when they select applicants for interview. Sounds like he's still trying it on. I read the earlier thread Joe - as Graham said he should be back in Liberia - maybe Virgin can do him a cheap ticket.
