This is a difficult one and I don't think I can vote!

At the time she was in power, I was just a kid, but I'd definitely say that I didn't like her! However, now that I am an adult, looking back on her policies, I think that many of them were the right thing to do.

I wouldn't say that I "don't care" because she was an important historical leader.

But what isn't in question is her personal achievement, at a time when politics was dominated by men.

she sold everything off that was British :Britain:

She sold off all the badly run British businesses that were losing money and noncompetitive.
They had to be subsidized by tax payers as they were run by fat lazy jobs worths who thought they had a cushy little number for life and protected by the unions.
Wrong!!
Sink or swim like the rest of us.
I dont agree with everything she did..The poll tax was a huge mistake that she paid for dearly.

if ALL these British companies were so badly run, why did businesses and people risk their money buying shares then?

or is it a case of selling £10 notes for a £5 :icon_rolleyes::icon_rolleyes:

There is always risk involved when buying a companies shares..
As I said, sink or swim with the rest of us.
Fortunately newly privatized companies like B.T went from strength to strength after they were privatized. Given new Commercial freedoms, companies like BT were able to operate and expand globally.
Wish now I had got some myself back then!!
