The comet PanSTARRS is visible to the human eye in the Northern skies at around sunset. I'm off to see it this evening. Cloud cover is 50/50 so hopefully it either stays that way or clears up.

Well that was a waste of time, clear skies and could see squat :doh

I did get a good view of the Andromeda Galaxy and the Orion Nebulae, we did meet this little guy though

We had lots of cloud and snow/sleet flurries.
Snow flurries again early this morning, but now its blue sky and sunshine. Brass monkey conditions though

......................... :yeahthat:'s so true!! I was chatting to my one remaining aunt :oldlady: on the phone last night. Born on April 1st 1918 ... she'll be 95 this coming Monday, and she was telling me she'd NEVER KNOWN such a bitterly cold March. :36_1_26[1]:

Which one can well~believe ... because an :olddude: [aged 91] I'd spoken to after Church last Sunday was saying more or less the same thing!

Hmm ...

......... :yeahthat: caricature of my aunt is perhaps 'a little' (unfairly) inaccurate, as she still has "all her marbles", lives on her own in Kirkcaldy, doesn't use a walking stick and frequently travels to Edinburgh by train - without assistance.
