I know just how you feel.
My wife still hates the hairdressers here in UK.
She did find a few in London (all Filipino) around the Edgware Road area.
She also sometimes goes to a place in Earls Court just close to the station.

Otherwise it's just pot luck and put up.

I went to salon 2 months ago for the same reason as yours. I paid £49 for trim and blow-dry. Crikey:NoNo:. It was my first time and that would be my last.

Hello there! Have you sorted out and found a hairdresser?
Im not sure where you live but maybe you can try one of the Academy Salon close to your place. I know they are students but they are supervised by their own instructor. If its just a trim that you want Im sure they can do that as long as you let them know how long you want it trimmed. Its cheaper than a normal salon.
I've had my hair permed and cut by them and i didnt have to pay that much.
