I don't know anything about the 'OS' of anything :NoNo:

I still wonder at the magic of it all. :icon_rolleyes:
I'm not interested how it does what it does, just that it does it in way and a time that makes me satisfied and happy :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Apple is the best operating system by a long way

As for phones i like the look of the Samsung galaxy note 2
yes its big but then most people spend their time on the net on these phones

Iphone 5 is too small (screen) and to similar to the 4s

Apple need to bring out a bigger screen phone and soon or we will all be jumping ship

They're all good in their way. AppleOS is rock steady, but looks dated now and frankly not as "sexy" as the latest Android.
Let's not even mention the absolute joke that Apple Maps is.

I have no experience of using it, but I'm told by Windows phone owners that Windows is better than Android.

HUGE advantage of Android are the many apps which come free but cost on Apple. Advantage of Apple, the apps they have are tested quality and won't give you virus - this can't be said of all Android apps.

With Android, you can guarantee there will be a new fresh OS out with regularity, it's never going to look ho-hum. Having said that, the average user won't have a clue how to update the OS on their phone. I've only done it once and it was a bit fraught (But something I had to do to remove the absolute crap Orange spoil the phones with)

Just love android.

Jelly Bean on the galaxy S3 is very enjoyable to use.

When I use something I like it to just work. Unfortunately iOS has a built in JFDI routine. So it gets my vote.
I bought my mum a Galaxy phone for Xmas and I'm still teaching her how to add contacts..

My wife recently upgraded to Samsung Galaxy
Her old iPhone 4 would need to be unlocked if I wanted to use on PAYG.
A quick phone call to O2 and within 24 hours had a text message telling us to connect to iTunes. Immediately the phone was confirmed as unlocked.
