I can't remember when we last celebrated Valentines Day.
Even cards don't get given.
No problems with that with either of us.

It's turned into more of a social obligation than expression of love.
Just my opinion:icon_rolleyes:

I remember in Japan that Valentine's Day 14 February is that time for the lady to express "something" to the man. Quite often it's chocolate.
Then a month later on 14 March it's White Day. Now this is when the man reciprocates.
Tradition is that the man give gifts. Usually jewellery, but whatever it is it's called 'sanbai gaeshi' meaning 3 times what was given on Valentines!!
That's in cost not in volume/quantity :yikes:

Simon, a new member by that name registered yesterday. I can normally sniff out a spammer but decided to leave this one to see if I was right. Then just a few minutes ago, they spammed this thread. Link in first post. They also came from the USA from their IP address. When a spammer makes a post I can blitz them with the forum's Spam o matic function that completely removes them from the forum wipes all their posts and history and adds them to a global spam poster database. Other sites that use the same software then automatically deny access to them before they can spam again.

Hope that explains it :xxgrinning--00xx3:
