Visit visas aren't allowed to get extension. She needs to go back to the Philippines and apply for a new one. Please read this http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/visiting/family/extend/

Rayna is right. Visit Visas cannot be extended. She needs to leave the UK on or before her visa expires.

As others have said, the rules state you cannot normally extend a visit visa beyond 6 months. The rules also state you cannot normally stay for more than 6 months stay in any 12 month period.

You may have some urhent and compelling personal reasons, in which case I would advise you contact UKBA by phone to discuss.

Any valid application would be made on FLR(O)
The current charge is £561 non-refundable.

Please telephone UKBA: 0870 606 7766
