FTSE has finely gone over the 6000 mark its been a long time since its been this high lets hope its a start of something new,

Don't get to excited it's probably connected to the US fiscal deal as the markets seem to have improved all over the world on this news.

It always goes up at this time of year. New Year optimism. As bigmarco says, we have the recent US Fiscal (non) deal too. Just watch what happens in 2 months time when the children, sorry US politicians 'discuss' the postponed items, I'm sure things will be back to normal.
