A good idea:

CEBU City: To ease the worsening traffic problem in the Metropolitan Cebu area, the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) presented in a consultative meeting on Tuesday the proposal to construct a $455.8-million Mass Rail Transport (MRT) project, which will link the cities of Talisay, Cebu and

NOW that is a good idea for Cebu city. My Cebuana friend is constantly complaining of the traffic there. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Oh dear......and how much of that will actually end up paying for the job? 100%, 50%, 10%.........probably start crumbling away a few years after it is finsihed.

Now a £25 congestion charge will solve it.....Eh Mr Ken??? :Erm:

i dunno keith... at least the traffic congestion wont be that bad anymore once the MRT is there. An alternative to jeepneys, etc... is always welcome.

MRT never lowered the traffic levels in Singapore, it works at first, and then the traffic returns.

London is just as bad now as before the congestion charge, just another tax to keep the poor out.
