My flights to the UK are already confirmed which makes me more excited. :hubbahubba::Jump::Jump:

I will be leaving the PI on the 23rd of June by Etihad Airways via Abu Dhabi (I also used Etihad last year) and will have a 9 hours stay at Abu Dhabi airport for my next flight which is to London.

We used KAYAK to book my flight and we have paid £427 only. Cheap if you compare to other flights to the UK nowadays!

Cheers!!

With Etihad it depends if your on a full fare economy as to whether you get a hotel. If not, then its dead easy to get to the Yas Marina and stay at one of those hotels. I purposely selected a 10hr stopover in Abu Dhabi once and stayed at an amazing 5 star hotel in Yas Island (10 mins taxi from airport), and it cost me the total of 25 pounds for the night! :-)

Good point, brain fart moment. I know flying with Emirates via Dubai, Filipina can get a free visa by applying online via the Emirates website. Not sure in Abu Dhabi

Not sure if that was sand storm? They only said its very foggy and 'twas really foggy when I had a little peek in the window. that's the reason why we got delayed for 3 hours.

Hi melovesengland and everyone! I would just like to ask, after getting your visa, is the cfo sticker the last requirement needed before leaving for the UK or is there anything else? Is there no medical exam required, etc?

Thanks! :)

Hello there love! Yes, the last requirement to achieve is the CFO sticker and certificate. Didn't do any medical stuffs also. So I think you'll be alright. Cheers!
