The UK immigration site has recently sneaked in the sentence that they prefer relationships to be 2 years old.

6 months may be a little on the short side. You can still apply, as long as you've met, and have plenty of proof of a relastionship, but you'll need your fingers, arms, legs & eyes crossed. A witch doctor & some charms may help as well

Seriously though, it may prove a hurdle, and is probably best waiting at least a year. I dated mine over 2 years with 6000 miles between us.

One little question? How come you ended up with a Filipino instead of a nice Westerner? :)
