I dont know what tapioca pearls are...is that simply just tapioca? If so then yes to that. And we can get tofu here.

Tapioca is quite easy to get hold of.

When I was a kid I used to wait for the magtataho vendor every morning so that I could have a taho for breakfast :) especially when it's hot and fresh in the morning.:xxgrinning--00xx3:
A Philippine pride, vendors usually sell these for breakfast. ... It also comes in strawberry syrup flavor but you can only have it in Baguio. :):hubbahubba:

I'm "foxed" ... any relation to "Tallyho? If you haven't had it before and like caramel type flavours then it really is quite nice. Evidently street vendors sell it everywhere, so my wife says, starting from 5 pesos going up to 20 pesos worth. Served warm in a plastic glass.

We got the fresh soft tofu from the asian store today.....

Nutritionally good too.........

"So what are the health benefits of eating taho?

Taho is made from soybean which is rich in protein.

Soybean is rich in lecithin, vitamin E and magnesium which are important for the normal function of bones, heart and arteries. According to researches, regular intake of soybean reduces risk to breast, prostate and colon cancer".
