The Kuwait Criminal Court sentenced on Sunday a Kuwaiti couple identified as Abdulaziz Al Falekh and Rabagh Mustafa Sahata to death by hanging for the premeditated murder of their Filipino household service worker, Asria Samad Abdul, in July 2010.

the poor woman, i dont know how much in £ that is but no amount of compensation can amend what she went through,

Are you sure it wasn't the sentences rather than the verdicts that they didn't welcome ?

well for a country that states drug dealers face the death penalty..


The Philippine government tried to appeal for clemency for the Filipino convict. Last week, China turned down a visit from Binay, who was supposed to deliver a letter from President Aquino to Chinese President Hu Jintao appealing for the commutation of the death sentence to life imprisonment.

"Drug trafficking is a criminal act in the Philippines and all over the world. We pray that this is the last time that a tragedy like this befalls on any of our countrymen," it
