Immigration officers prevented about 70 sham marriages in one month taking place by monitoring a busy city centre register office, it has emerged.

Simply kicking them into jail or out of the country isnt enough anymore.

Singapore deters illegals by giving them a serious good hiding - a sham marriage is probably a hanging offence over there :D
