The BBC has been accused of 'absurd political correctness' after dropping the terms BC and AD in case they offend non-Christians.

For me an Atheist, I'd be happy if they dropped the bloody lot, and in particular all religious garbage programming from Sunday morning TV and radio.

Let all the minorities and hypocrites go to their churches if they want to listen to that ancient claptrap. :)

I do however agree that this IS politically-correct nonsense.

Actually those terms were dropped years ago, especially in the science world. Nothing to do with religion, but to do with accuracy for measuring time from a zero base.
