I told my boy not to bother, because I'm a miserable old :censored: who doesn't deserve anything. :laugher:

Englishman, I'll echo Terpe's sentiments. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

I had 'visits only' for 5 years with my boy before he came to live with me, and it is just so awful a situation to be in....especially as I lived 60 miles away. :bigcry:

Hopefully things will improve for you too.:)

Thanks Terpe:xxgrinning--00xx3: I'm very fortunate as my kids mother's house is only a 5 minute walk from mine and we have good arrangements in place to ensure they spend a good period of time with each of us

I had a happy fathers day wish from my asawa, she sent the wishes from my 2 step sons.

Biologically, my baby is only 33% grown does that count yet ? :icon_lol:

Cheers Graham:xxgrinning--00xx3:, As I said in post 11, I've been very lucky when it comes to the kids. I have them stay over with me 2 or 3 nights every week and can see them every day if needed. Although things didn't work out between me and my ex wife, one thing we have always agreed on is that no matter what our differences were, the kids would never get dragged into it and they would have equal access to both of us, and we'd both be involved in how they are brought up and educated.
I've got plenty of pals who've not seen much of their kids after they divorced, I'd never want to be in that position.

Oh that's good to hear. :)

Fortunately the ex and I had a similar agreement.

Me and my ex fought tooth and nails through numerous courts over my two kids ...... neither of us wanted the thick gits :D
