hello! i would like to thank everyone here in the forum. this is a big help! especially to joebloggs who just told me to apply with my daughter at the same time to avoid refusal for the reason of sole responsibility. i am so very happy and cannot explain how i feel right now as i will be with my loving future husband soon. i lodged our application last April 01 and got a text message and email yesterday from the vfs and we picked up the result this afternoon. God is really good! :xxgrinning--00xx3:

i have a question, i applied for a fiance visa with child dependant. but in my visa, the type of visa that they gave to me is a VISA MARRIAGE and under the number of dependants on my visa its stated there, "0". do i need to go back to the vfs office tomorrow and ask re the type of visa that they gave to me why it is a visa marriage and the number of dependant why it is zero were infact i have 1 daughter with me going to UK? and also, will i be needing a CFO sticker for my daughter as well?... thank u again for all the support!

as long as she has a visa in her passport you shouldn't have a problem, what ever happens to you visa wise will happen to your daughter :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Hi there and congrats!!! Well as far as the Visa Marriage goes - thats correct - Even your under Fiancee visa - In the visa iteself it will stae Marriage - as thats what you are intending to do (Odd I know but its correct) Reference the number of dependants - That seems odd - and I would to be clear and safe call them to calrify.

Enjoy life!!!! Cheers

Congratulations on your visa! Great news! When (my) jen went to do her cfo she arrived very early as they only see the first 20 people. That was in Cebu, not sure about elsewhere. Goodluck!

I have a Certificate from the DSWD of sole custody and responsibility. Do i need to include my previous wedding certificate, or it doesn't make sense anymore as long as i have my previous husbands death certificate?

i think u also need to submit the death cert of the biological father of ur 2 kids, but pls make sure that the original receipts especially the o.r's from the NSO should be attached in each documents coz i met a guy one time in vfs and his spouse visa was refused bcuz accdg to the brit embassy, the death cert of his wife was fake/not true.

with regard to the DSWD, i called them this morning and they told me that my daughter does not need the certificate from them coz as long as either one of the parent will be travelling with their kid, it should be ok. but since u mentioned that, i will still insist to go to DSWD just incase there might be a problem in the airport. thanks!

Thanks Jen. Do i need to reproduce photocopies all supporting papers for my 2 sons VAF4 forms? When I submitted our visit visa application the other year, each of us have copies of all the supporting documents.

You normally don't need a DSWD paper as long as one of the parents are travelling you the kids.

I think you will find that it has to be a biological parent though.

hi arym! no need to photocopy each VAF4, just one set of all the supporting documents will be ok. coz when i submitted 2 sets of supporting dox (for me and my daughter), they gave back to me the other set coz it is just the same supporting dox for each of u. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
