Dear All,
Some of you may have been following another thread of mine recently!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Arlene arrived at Gatwick this morning having had a smooth transit from Cebu via Doha.
Immigration in Cebu & Gatwick were very helpful and courteous!

I am so relieved now after 2 and a 1/2 years that she is finally here.:hubbahubba:

She has been out already to the supermarket and is astonished at the prices!!
Also very surprised to have taken a nap and woken up to find it gone 7 and still daylight:doh
Thanks so much to everyone here for their help, support & kind wishes

Thats really nice to hear - love to see successes! helps give me faith in the visa application system!

When my fiancee comes to the UK (thinking positive) we will be living just south of Towcester!
Perhaps in due course we can meet!

Kind regards
Tone

@Tone, wow thats cool where are u? When is your Mahal due to arrive? have you made her visa application already?
Been thinking of a thread looking for filipinas nearby but thought it may be a lost cause?

Hi there, I was very happy and relieved to hear that your fiancee arrived safely and without any problems. I have to wait until the 27th before I can feel what you two must be feeling now. Looking at the calendar and counting days is not the best way to pass the time, but I'm sure that you have done plenty of that over the past few weeks. Just wanted to wish you look and every happiness for the future

Hi Alan
We'll be living in Potterspury, My Mahal is waiting to do those TOEIC exams again and so having collected all the evidence the visa people have asked for it's just that certificate that's holding the visa application submittal up. I'm guessing she won't be in the uk until September which for me is a killer because I've spent the last 7 months with her and enjoyed every minute of every day.
I'm planning the wedding end of oct or end of November and obtaining quotes but don't want to do too much until I get the visa app in.
Hoping mid July she will get her TOEIC S&W results and she passes then we are good to go.
Let's see, I know you have all been where I am right now and I'm keeping the faith all will be well.
But when She has arrived we can catchup.
Cheers
tone
