HI all

I have read several conflicting advices on whether or not original documents are required with reference to mortgage statements, bank statements, income statements etc.

Would anybody else give their opinion on whether copies of these statements will suffice or whether originals are neccessary?

Thanks in anticipation

Copy them. Keep the copies yourself. Always best to send the original in case they get fussy.

Wherever you apply, most offices are now prefered to see original documents or certified copy than copied ones, specially when you talk about embassies or immigrations.

I advice that you make a copy of each original documents you are sending incase you lost them and always use a special delivery/courier or recorded delivery when sending your important documents.

If you don't want to send in orignals you could always have them notraizised. But if you need a whole load doing it maybe costly depending on how much your charged per paper etc.
