Vandals who desecrate war memorials should receive longer sentences, ministers have told judges.

:iagree:! And let's be "Blunt" about it ... harsher punishments need to be meted out as a salutory deterrent to those imbicilic vandals who wantonly desecrate our war memorials.

We don't need harsher penalties for anything, they are already in law, what is required is for the courts to have some balls, and the prisons to stop letting them out after only doing 33% of the sentence :doh
