This book is the best, DO NOT buy the official book, it's a rip-off: Life in the UK Test, How to Pass the (Which): A study guide to British citizenship with interactive CD-ROM containing practice tests (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1844900584?ie=UTF8&tag=win2winracing-21&linkCode=as2&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=1844900584)

Steve, there is a book sold in WH Smith for £7.99 by Red Squirrel Publishing.
"Life In The UK Test".
It is the 2011 version and it has online tests also.

My wife is memorizing questions/answers and is telling me things about the UK that I don't know about :icon_lol:

your welcome Steve, you started a thread that will be useful for us taking test soon,,,,surely to get many ideas from here.:xxgrinning--00xx3::xxgrinning--00xx3::xxgrinning--00xx3:
It is 7 deg here,a bit cloudy at times and a bit shower,,,,nice to just snuggle in the couch and be lazy.
When i bought a a book about theory test, i got carried away of buying cd's and at least 5 more books,it end up its a rip off as they are all have same Q and A,,,,as they always tells you they are the latest! i even got them free over the internet.
Now will be more careful when i buy again!

I can very highly recommend either on-line practise sessions or CD based practise sessions.
The questions are multiple choice (means self prompting), so keeping at the practise sessions will yield good results.

When I did practise test I failed first few times. Many of the questions are just not reflecting important aspects of life in uk (imho)
