Hi, I have recently moved to Cambridge and am a male widower with a 4 year old boy.
I speak Thai and Japanese but as a keen diver who has made several visits to Mindoro and Cebu, I would
really like to learn some Tagalog. I understand there is a large Fillipino community here in Cambridge and
wondered if there was anyone willing to teach me.
Salamat, Duncan

Duncan ... :welcomex: to our online fellowship; there is, indeed, a thriving Filipino Community in Cambridge, I believe.

I lived in the Kannai area of Yokohama. (walking distance to the office)
I was involved in the development of the Shinkansen trains as consultant engineer. Actually managed to drive one out of Nagoya.
I met my wife in Japan and we really enjoyed our life there.

Welcome aboard Duncan

Welcome to the forum Dunc ............ I'm near Cambridge but don't speak Tagalog either. There are a large number of filipinos working at Addenbrookes Hospital if you want to make some enquiries in that area.

Ikiana Gagalak Kong Makilala Kayo Duncan - Pleased to meet you Ducan and welcome

If you put a search in You tube for Learn Tagalog they have a few basic lessons to start you off. Not the same as learning from someone but a start.
