I would like to thank everyone on this forum for the help you extended us.

Today, my wife got her citizenship invitation :Jump::Jump: by monday she will book for the ceremony.

How quick?
3Nov - submit the application by NCS

8Nov (date on the letter from ukba) - confirmation letter that they received the payment and application received by us 15 Nov

19Nov (date on the letter) - Citizenship invitation letter received today 27 Nov

:yikes:, Joe ... the way you've put it ... anyone would think they'd just been released from a *"prison sentence". :rolleyes: Mind you, I suppose it must've felt like *that at times ... all the red tape and waiting for visas en route! :D

free from the gov and any immigration conditions and rules and paying for the privilege of being married to a Brit :Jump:
