Hi Guys

Lanie and I are off to the phills for 5 weeks at Christmas.

Intend to request balikbayan visa at immagration at NAIA.

Just a quick question , which lane do you queue in to get this - Foreign passport , Filipino passport or is there a special balikbayan lane ?

Thanks in advance

I've never seen a special lane. Actually never even looked for a special lane.
Just any lane available. Both of you approach the lane together. Smile.Hand over both passports together. Smile.Better that your wife will request balikbayan privileges for you both and be sure the request is positively acknowledged. Smile. Check that the stamp is 1 year.
Smile and go to baggage carousel. Smile:)

Always, it's the best way. :)

Means if you are RP citizen travelling with your hubby and/or children etc everyone gets 1 year stay ( as long as you can prove RP citizenship)

In Manila T1, the left hand side is for Non-Filipino's and the right hand side for Filipino's. I'm lead to believe that when travelling with your wife, you can use either side.
There is also on the very far left hand side a channel for Diplomats etc
