I would highly recommend reading the above book on relationships by John Gray. It's one of the most famous relationship books ever published and one that can easily be picked up/ put down and well worth the read!

John Gray is a best selling author, lecturer and relationship counsellor whose books have sold many millions of copies world wide. I bought my copy a few years ago and it retailed at £8.99

ISBN 0-00-715259-0

The answer to that one is easy Steve ....... it's because men are from Mars! :laugher:

Johncar, Febmary and Rani ...... I found it quite enlightening and worth the read, it explains a lot about different behaviours between the sexes and how communication is key to a successful relationship ;)

Rosie, I live in Spain and thus know many words which although the same in English and Spanish have different meanings, example 'Constipation' in Spanish means congested with cold symptoms, 'Embarrassed' also means pregnant, 'Pretender' mean to intend to do something.

This I guess makes it easier for me to understand and accept more readily that 'the same word can mean different things to males and females.'

This reminds me of an old joke saying:

Marriage is the price men pay for sex:do_it:
And sex is the price woman pay for marriage:heartshape1:

No offence meant:xxgrinning--00xx3:

The eternal difference, is that when the man gets married he thinks to himself
'I hope she will never change'
When the woman gets married she thinks
'I can change him'
