... that the site has appeared slower than usual to respond over the past 12 hours or so? I don't think the problem is due to my internet connection, because IT seems to be functioning in accordance with its normal capacity.

Oddly enough, too ... as I type there are 'No Unread Posts' - which is MOST unusual at this time of day!

me too arthur,using the back button has been taking a few clicks for quite a while.....today and last night its like i have a very slow connection just using this site...everything else is normal :bigcry:

i dont wanna complain to the boss as i might get called an idiot :icon_lol:

All the speeds checks from around the world are fine and have been fine.

I think your find the interweb connections for many people are far slower with people snowed in and people spending far more time on line either socially or working from home.

Yes ... that's what I'd been wondering. And it would certainly explain this morning's slow performance. Thing is, though, the "sluggishness" started late last night ... and seemed to be peculiar to the forum, because I'd still been able to access my tiscali email at the normal speed.
