Not so sure, it will pass over Manila somewhere on Friday. You may not land there as the airports will be surely closed if the strength of the Typhoon is confirmed. That was the case during last big typhoon.

Anyway, it's better to be safe than trying to land under a typhoon...

I don't know, you have to ask the hotel about this special case, just know that Airlines will not give you any compensation in case of weather problem leading to cancel or divert flights.

It seems that remings will pass just south of Manila, see here: http://newsinfo.inq7.net/breakingnews/metroregions/view_article.php?article_id=35575

The Manila airport authority was also considering diverting all incoming flights to Hong Kong, radio reports said.

May be better to consider an hotel in Hong-Kong??? :Erm:
But you will know only at the last minute if the airport is open or closed.

Take a parchute & raft just in case......if it's last minute, you'll only get half-way to HK on the remaining fuel :cwm24:
